My name is Ma-art-je and I am an Dutch autodidact, intuitive, artist. I was born on 14-03-1987 in Purmerend, but I grew up in Emmeloord. I have lived in Westervoort since 2013. I came to Westervoort for my love. We got married and became parents of two young girls.

My creative work was initially THE way for me to process my feelings. I always kept my creative work to myself until 2010. But when it turned out that people liked my work and started asking about it, I started showing more creations. In 2010 I held my first three exhibitions.

I am self-taught, I have not followed any training or course, but I have always followed my own feeling and I have developed my own technique.
